COZY MOUNTAIN CABIN WITH WOODLAND PRIVACY! Whether you're looking for a weekend getaway or permanent residence, this enchanting cabin has all the features you're looking for in a mountain property! Nestled into a wooded, almost 2-acre lot in The Woodlands community, this one-level home features a large open-concept living/dining/kitchen with soaring vaulted ceilings, an oversized primary bedroom with ensuite bath, and 2 additional bedrooms that share a bath between them. The interior details speak to the quality of the home with maple hardwood floors throughout, English-style wood paneling in the great room, curly maple kitchen cabinets with granite countertops, tiled bathrooms, and a soaring stone fireplace with gas logs anchoring the great room. The home is being sold fully furnished and was updated with new furniture recently. The oak dining room table and benches were custom made for the space. Outside there is plenty of covered living space with an expansive covered deck(29'x20') with vaulted ceilings and wraparound porches. The exterior log siding and decks were stained and sealed just this year. The craftsmanship of the home extends to the large walk-in crawlspace and the HVAC which is equipped with a heat pump for heating/cooling and propane auxiliary furnace. A large 500 gallon fuel tank is buried onsite and ensures you'll always have warm heat from the furnace and gas logs. This log home community features paved roads throughout and sits just at the base of Little Phoenix Mountain in Ashe County, NC. The towns of Jefferson and West Jefferson with their quaint shops and delightful local restaurants are just a short 7 mile drive and Boone and Blowing Rock are just over 30 minutes away. Short term rentals are allowed. Don't miss this opportunity to live your mountain lifestyle dream. Book your showing today!
